" 'Yackin' III" (the Animas) received the "Reflections of Durango and Best in Show" award. (The decision was unanimous by 3 jurors- the Durango Camber of Commerce makes 1000 signed and numbered prints to distribute to all of its members, and has first option to purchase the work for possible auction at another event.)
" 'Yakin' III (the Animas)" was awarded the "DATO Chosen
Artist" award. (They selected 3 artists' work to receive 12 months of
on line promotion on their website (Durango Area Tourism Office), an exhibit
at the Visitors' Center, and one artist's image reproduced on a postcard
for DATO. DATO will also feature the winning artists in a special promotion
of the Durango community. )
"Four Corners Commission Juried Exhibition" - "Durango's Harvests" will be used in their 2008 art projects.
